Travelling responsibly

Travelling responsibly

Doing our part to help protect the environment is important to us at AAT Kings. We want to make it easy for you to travel, see new things and have a great time along the way. It's what we do best and we are proud to also play our part in protecting the planet for the future. Responsible travel is about bringing you closer to local cultures & environments and about involving & benefiting the local people in tourism.

AAT Kings is a founding contributor to The Travel Corporation Conservation Foundation. Since the Foundation launched in 2008, it has worked to encourage sustainable tourism and supports threatened natural environments and historic sites all over the world. A project we are particularly proud of is the Kimberley Sustainable Tourism project in Australia.

Traveling by coach is one of the most environmentally friendly ways to get around. To help further reduce the environmental impact of your trip, we've provided information about our relationships with recommended carbon neutral providers , giving you the option to offset your carbon emissions produced on your travels.

In our company offices, we are working towards reducing the impact of our everyday activities by minimizing our waste, energy use and paper consumption. We use 100% recycled paper, which contains 95% post consumer waste in all of our printed brochures. We also give back to the local communities in which we operate, with every staff member being given the opportunity to spend 2 working days a year volunteering for an approved charity of their choice, all on company time.
