Darwin and Litchfield National Park
Explore Darwin and Litchfield National Park on this AAT Kings 4 day tour. See the Chinese Temple, lush Botanic Gardens, Stokes Hill Warf and picturesque Florence, Tolmer and Wangi Falls.
Day 1: Arrive Darwin
On arrival at Darwin Airport you will be transferred to your hotel (flights anytime,
airfare not included). Afternoon is at leisure.
Hotel: Travelodge Mirambeena Resort (standard), Holiday Inn Esplanade (superior) or
Mantra on the Esplanade (first class), Darwin, 3 nights.
Day 2: City Sights
After a morning at leisure, join a city sights tour for the perfect introduction to
Darwin, with expert commentary by a local guide. See the Chinese Temple and the lush
Botanic Gardens. See the Stokes Hill Wharf area and the Mooring Basin. There is also
time available to explore the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory.

Day 3: Litchfield National Park
We follow the Stuart Highway to Litchfield National Park. View Florence Falls from a
high vantage point before making your way down the stairs to the plunge pool below with
an opportunity to swim. We visit Tolmer Falls for a magnificent view of the water
cascading down to the deep waterhole below. We venture to Wangi Falls for another
opportunity for a swim in the large crystal clear pool and an optional steady climb
through the monsoon vine forest to the top of the falls. A great day also for taking
many interesting photos, including the amazing stand of magnetic termite mounds.

Day 4: Depart Darwin
You will be transferred to Darwin Airport for your onward flight (flights
anytime, airfare not included).
