Driver Guides and Drivers

To apply you need:
  • A valid HR license
  • Possess or be able to obtain a Level 2 First Aid Certificate
  • The ability to relocate geographically to one of these locations: Ayers Rock, Alice Springs, Darwin or Sydney

  • HSC or equivalent secondary qualification
  • Public speaking experience
  • Possess or be able to obtain a Level 2 First Aid certificate

What is the recruitment process?

If you have applied for a position that is currently available, applications may take up to 10 days to process and due to high volumes of applications only successful applicants are contacted after the closing date stated.

Your application will be kept on file for 6 months so if a suitable position becomes available we will contact you to discuss.

Unsuccessful applicants will be advised of their application’s result via email.

Am I eligible to work for AAT Kings?

AAT Kings welcomes applications from experienced individuals who meet the requirements of the role advertised.

You must be either:
* An Australian or New Zealand citizen
* An Australian or New Zealand resident
* Have already gained necessary Australian or New Zealand working rights.

Does AAT Kings offer work experience?

We accept applications for work experience from students of recognised educational institutions. The work is voluntary and unpaid.

For Drivers and Driver guides - we have seasonal positions in Darwin (between March-October) and casual Driver Guide positions in Ayers Rock, Alice Springs and Sydney.

I haven't been a Tour Director before. Should I apply?

Candidates for the position of Tour Director with AAT Kings are required to have previous guiding experience.

If you do not yet have guiding experience, our sister brand, Contiki Holidays accepts applications from enthusiastic and able individuals, with intakes in March annually.
